His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday received a phone call from Swiss Confederation President Simonetta Sommaruga, and discussed bilateral relations and regional developments, especially the Palestinian cause.
 
Discussions covered the strong ties between the two countries and keenness to bolster cooperation across various sectors.
 
Discussions also addressed bilateral and international efforts to counter and contain coronavirus disease (COVID-19), and the importance of continued cooperation to deal with the economic and humanitarian ramifications of the pandemic, while safeguarding the health of all peoples.
