His Majesty King Abdullah II Friday followed up with "deep concern" the critical and grave developments in the occupied Palestinians territories, voicing unequivocal condemnation to Israel`s military aggression against the defenceless Palestinian people , particularly Israel`s threats to harm Palestinian Presidents Yasser Arafat`s life.
During a phone conversation with President Arafat , the Monarch said Israel`s flagrant aggression against the Palestinian leadership
is a gross violation to all international charters , affirming the Kingdom`s unwavering backing to Palestinian people. He noted " the
country maintains continuous contacts with international powers to halt this Israeli onslaught and to put an immediate end to its violent malpractices against the armless Palestinians".
