His Majesty King Abdullah II received cables of congratulation on the advert of the holy month of Ramadan.



Cables were sent by Sultan Qaboos Bin Said of Oman, King Hamad Bin Issa Al Khalefa of Bahrain, Sudanese President, Omar Hassan Bashir, Mauritanian President, Muawiya Wald Sidi Ahmad Taya, Iraqi President, Ghazi Yawer, President of Bangladesh, Iajuddin Ahmed, Eritrean President, Isaias Afwerki, President of Maldives, Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, as well as a number of Arab senior officials.



The senders wished the King continued good health and happiness and the people of Jordan further progress and prosperity.
