King Praises the Role of the Anti Corruption Directorate

His Majesty King Abdullah II praised on Tuesday the role of the Anti Corruption Directorate of the General Intelligence Department in fighting corruption and creating the suitable climate for attracting investments in Jordan.

During His Majesty's visit to the Anti Corruption Directorate, in which he was accompanied by Minister of the Royal Court Faisal Fayez, the King affirmed his support to the Directorate's efforts in uprooting corruption.

His Majesty stressed that there are no red lines in the way of those who exert efforts to preserve public properties and citizens' rights.

The King also noted that Jordan is the state of Justice and equality, and there will be no tolerance in dealing with those who tries to violate public properties, investors and citizen's rights.

For his part, Director of Anti Corruption Directorate Colonel Musleh Kayed briefed The King on the activates of the Directorate which was established in 1996, and the main issues which were followed up by the Directorate.
