King Patronizes PSD's Ceremony on the Occasion of the Independence Day

His Majesty King Abdullah II, the supreme commander of the Armed Forces, patronized on Tuesday at the Royal Police Academy the ceremony which was held by the Public Security Department (PSD) on the occasion of the Independence day and the 80th anniversary of establishing the PSD.



Director of Public Security Department General Tahseen Shurdum delivered a speech in which he said, " it was a pioneering step in the history of Jordan to establish the PSD and it was a Hashemite initiative that reflected King Abdullah's I foresight for recognizing the need for establishing peace and stability."



Shurdum also noted to the King's support and care attached to PSD to train and develop human elements and to provide them with the most advanced equipment.
