King Meets U.S. Senators, Heads of Delegates to WEF Meeting

His Majesty King Abdullah II discussed on Sunday with a number of Congress members the bilateral relations between Jordan and the US in the political and economic fields.



Talks also covered the latest developments in the Palestinian Lands and Iraq and the US's role in pushing the peace process foreword through implementing the Roadmap.



The King thanked the Congress Members over their support to Jordan, and he pointed out that the US's aid has enabled Jordan to go ahead in implementing its social and economic developmental projects.



The King also met with Latvian President Vaira Vike- Freiberga and discussed with her mechanisms of activating bilateral relations in the political and economic fields.



On the other hand, the King met on Monday with Ukrainian Vice-Prime Minister Vitaliy Hayduk, who conveyed to His Majesty a message from the Ukrainian President concerning mechanisms of promoting bilateral relations between the two countries.



In addition, the King also met with President of City Bank International Group William Rodes. Rodes praised the investment climate in Jordan and its role in attracting foreign investments.
