King Meets U.S. Red Cross Delegation

His Majesty King Abdullah II on Sunday met a U.S. Red Cross delegation led by David Miclovleen currently on a visit to Jordan for talks on cooperation with the Jordanian Red Crescent Society (JRCS).

During the meeting which was attended by Royal Court Chief and JRCS president, King Abdullah expressed appreciation to U.S. Red Cross support to JRCS and commended the two organization humanitarian efforts to relieve suffering of people during catastrophes and armed conflicts.

The King also noted JRCS humanitarian support to the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation. U.S. Red Cross has offered assistance to JRCS that includes medical equipment and power generators.
