King Leaves to the US

His Majesty King Abdullah will hold talks on Thursday with US president George Bush on activating the peace process, implementing the roadmap and the future of the situation in Iraq.



The king who left on Wednesday to Washington for a two-day visit, will also discuss bilateral relations and Jordan's reforms in the various fields.



The king will also meet with the US president advisor for national security affairs Condolesa Rice and foreign minister Colin Bowel in addition to senior officials in the American administration.



The king is accompanied by prime minister Faisal Al Fayez, His Majesty's advisor for security affairs, minister of the Royal Court and ministers of foreign affairs, telecommunications and planning.



His Royal Highness Prince Ali Ben Nayef was sworn in as regent during the king's absence.
