His Majesty King Abdullah II left Amman heading for Riyadh on a few-hour visit to Saudi Arabia.

His Majesty will hold talks with the Saudi Monarch King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz and senor Saudi officials on mechanisms of promoting Jordanian-Saudi ties as well as the latest developments in the region, particularly in Palestine and Iraq.

King Abdullah is accompanied by Prime Minister Faisal Fayez.
