His Majesty King Abdullah II , the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, expressed pride on the Armed Forces and Security Apparatus' sacrifices and accomplishments in consolidating Jordan and protecting its capabilities.



In a statement to Jordan TV, His Majesty expressed congratulations to the Armed Forces on the Day of the Armed Forces and the anniversary of the Great Arab Revolt.



My Pride in the comrades of arms is boundless, and the best moments in my life are those I spent amongst my comrades in arms, he said.



His Majesty pointed out that the Jordanian Armed Forces and Security Apparatus offered great sacrifices and accomplishments to the homeland. We are keen on enhancing their military capabilities and improving the living standard of all of their members, he added.



On this occasion, His Majesty presented a cash gift to be distributed to all members of the Armed Forces, Public Intelligence, Public Security and Civil Defence as a token of appreciation on their sacrifices and accomplishments.



Commander of the Joint Chiefs of Staffs Khaled Sarayreh expressed the Armed Forces' deep appreciation on the King's endowment.



He Pointed out that the Royal endowment included all members of the Armed Forces and Security Forces.
