His Majesty King Abdullah II hosted on Sunday a lunch banquet on the honor of the Maldivian President, Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, and his accompanying delegation.

During the banquet, the two sides discussed cooperation relation between Jordan and Maldives and means to enhance them as well as issues of common concern.

The banquet was attended by HRH Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, the Prime Minister, the King's Special Advisor, the State Minister for Prime Ministry Affairs and Government Performance, the Ministers of Awqaf, health, State Minister for Legal Affairs as well as the Maldivian President's accompanying delegation.
