His Majesty King Abdullah II has received on Tuesday Board Chairman the Odeh Bank Rimon Odeh and his delegation on the occasion of launching its banking network in Jordan which includes 10 branches.



His Majesty King Abdullah expressed his full support for this pioneering step taken by a Lebanese bank to open its branches in Jordan and benefit from the favorable investment climate in the Kingdom. Odeh said that Jordan is the second Arab country after Lebanon in which the bank opens its branches. The bank's which has branches in several European countries has an estimated total asset of $10 billions. Sixty Jordanian employees were trained in Beirut to hold posts in the bank's branches in Jordan and the first branch is expected to open next month, Odeh added.
