His Majesty King Abdullah II Sunday received Afghani Foreign Minister Abdullah Abvdullah, who expressed appreciation on Jordan's support to achieve peace and stability in Afghanistan.

He pointed out to the Afghani people's appreciation on the contribution of the Jordanian armed forces in the field of health care.

His Majesty and Minister Abdullah reviewed the political and security situation in Afghanistan and the efforts exerted to bring back peace and stability in the country.

His Majesty met also with Head of the American Congress Aid Committee Jim Colby, where the situation in the Middle East and bilateral relations between Jordan and US were reviewed.

Colby hailed the progress Jordan has achieved in past years. He stressed the congress's keenness on developing relations with Jordan , particularly following signature of free trade agreement between the two countries.

The discussions focused also on the US efforts to release the Palestinian Israeli peace negotiations, and support and implement the road map articles.

His Majesty received also executive president of Holet Pacard, Carly Verona. The discussions focuss on cooperation between Jordan and the company in the field of information technology.
