King Abdullah II Meets With Brazilian President and Qatari Foreign Minister

His Majesty King Abdullah II and Brazilian President Luis Silva Sunday discussed means to build economic relations between the two countries and the development of the political relations between them.

During the meeting, they agreed on establishment of a joint committee to convene during the coming months in Amman and later in Brazil, in order to discuss increasing cooperation and trade and investment exchange in the two countries. His Majesty congratulated Silva on assumption of power following his triumph in the elections.

He expressed keenness on taking all measures to further enhance relations with Brazil.

In another occasion, His Majesty received Foreign Minister of Qatar Hamad Bin Jasem Al Thani, Head of the Qatari delegation to World Economic Forum (WEF).

During the meeting, which focused on relations between Jordan and Qatar, His Majesty affirmed the necessity for Arab countries to benefit from WEF in forging out an Arab forum on cooperation, and economic integrity.
