Jordan Youth Forum Starts

Under the Royal patronage, The Second Jordanian Youth Forum started on Saturday at the Dead Sea with the participation of 120 students representing the 20 Jordanian universities with a view institutionalize and develop the role of youth.



Minister of Planning and International Cooperation/ Vice-President of the Board of Trustees of King Abdullah II Fund For Development, Basem Awadallah, said, in the opening session, that the Forum comes upon directives by His Majesty King Abdullah to develop the role of youth and enhance their participation in the various sectors.



"The Participation of these distinguished students in the Forum is a proof of their seriousness and keenness to participate effectively in the life and to have a role in the future," Awadallah said.



"You have a real opportunity to help yourselves and to participate in building your future and the future of Jordan, because you are amongst the distinguished who were chosen on the bases of academic excellence and distinction,'' Awadallah added.
