His Majesty King Abdullah II Receives Pakistani Message

His Majesty King Abdullah II, Wednesday, received a message from Pakistani President Perevez Musharraf dealing with bilateral relations and the situation between Pakistan and India.

The message was handed to the King during his meeting at Al Barakah Palace with Pakistani President`s two envoys, Federal Minister Abbas Khan and Muslim Scholar Taher Qaderi .

During the meeting, which was attended by Royal Court Chief and acting Foreign Minister and State Minister for Political Affairs, King Abdullah stressed the necessity to give an upper hand for the language of peace and dialogue between India and Pakistan and to settle the two countries` issues through peaceful means. Strengthening peace and stability in the sub-Indian continent is not only important for peoples of the region but also for the world peace at large.

The King`s talks with the two envoys also covered means of further cementing Jordanian-Pakistani relations.
