Royal Decree Approves Cabinet Reshuffle
Amman, 26 September 2002



A Royal Decree was issued today approving the reshuffle in the Government of Ali Abul Ragheb.

Following are the new members in the government of Ali Abul Ragheb:

- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Mr. Faris Nabulsi
- Minister of Higher Education and Scientific research Dr. Mohammad Hamdan
- Minister of Health Dr. Waleed Ma'ani
- Minister of Agriculture Mr. Trad Al Fayez
- Minister of National Economy and State Minister Mr. Mohammad Samir Tawil
- Minister of Social Development Dr. Rowaydeh Ma'ayteh

The new ministers were sworn in before His Majesty King Abdullah II in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Ben Al Hussein, Prime Minister Ali Abul Ragheb and Chief of the Royal Court Dr. Fayez Tarawneh.

A Royal Decree was also issued on Thursday accepting the resignation of the following ministers:

- Minister of state for National Economy Affairs Dr. Mohammad Halayqeh
- Minister of Social Development Mrs. Tamam Al Ghoul
- Minister of Health Dr. Faleh Al Nasir
- Minister of Agriculture Dr. Mahmoud Al Duweiri

His Majesty the King met with the resigning ministers and thanked them for their performance and services they provided during their term.
