The ministerial meeting of the non-aligned movement entrusted His Majesty King Abdullah to be President for the coming three years which start with next year`s meeting in Amman.

The decision was taken during the movement`s meeting at the UN headquarters in New York.

Foreign minister Abdul Illah al Khatib delivered a speech at the meeting in which he reaffirmed the keenness of His Majesty and the Jordanian government on developing the movement`s efforts to achieve its goals.
