Amman, 25 November 2012

His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday met with Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, chairman of the Bahraini Royal Charity Organisation’s (BRCO) board of trustees, who conveyed a letter from Bahraini King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa on means to enhance bilateral ties.

His Majesty stressed the need to further develop ties between the two countries.

Sheikh Nasser stressed the deep-rooted relations between Jordan and Bahrain. He commended Jordan’s continuous efforts to provide Syrian refugees, whose number has exceeded 240,000, with various services and facilities.

Earlier in the day, Sheikh Nasser inaugurated a Bahrain Education Centre at Zaatari Refugee Camp, which includes four schools with a 5,000-student capacity.
