His Majesty King Abdullah II Wednesday expressed his appreciation of the Public Security Department`s performance and role in keeping the country`s security and the citizens` interests.
His Majesty King Abdullah II Tuesday urged for working together as one team, Moslems and Christians alike , to unify the world in the new millennium. His Majesty said that Jerusalem is a symbol of peace and an umbrella to bring the three monotheistic religions closer together, particularly in these difficult times prevailing in the region. He stressed that Jordan is a model for Islamic and Christian coexistence.
His Majesty King Abdullah II and Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, on Tuesday opened talks at Raghadan Palace on mechanisms to enhance economic and cultural cooperation in addition to development of events in the region.
President of Ukraine Leonid Kochma Tuesday arrived to Amman for a two day official visit during which he is going to hold talks with His Majesty King Abdullah II on means to further boost bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, in addition to the current developments in the region.

His Majesty King Abdullah II arrived back in Amman Monday after a two-visit which took him to Cairo, Casablanca and London. During the visit, King Abdullah held talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdel Aziz, who was visiting Morocco, and with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
His Majesty King Abdullah II and Egyptian President Muhammad Husni Mubarak Sunday called on Israel to instantly pull out its forces from the Palestinian territories and to stop practicing aggressions against the Palestinian people.

His Majesty King Abdullah II has left Amman for Cairo on the first leg of a three-country tour that will also take him to Morocco and Britain.
His Majesty King Abdullah II will leave for Cairo on Sunday on a brief visit to Egypt for talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on development of events in the Palestinian territories and ways to coordinate efforts to drum up support to the Palestinian position and the Arab demand for an immediate Israeli withdrawal from the Palestinian areas and an end to the siege on Palestinian President Yasser Arafat.
His Majesty King Abdullah II Thursday said Israel will never enjoy security as long as a whole nation is under occupation , noting `the problem is not only a security one as some Israelis claim , the root issue is rather political`.

The King`s remarks came in an interview with US Fox News satellite channel , and added the establishment of the independent and sovereign Palestinian state on the Palestinian national soil will give peace and security to Palestinians and Israelis alike.
