On the 5th anniversary of King Hussein's passing away, Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited the late King Hussein's tomb, where they recited verses from the Holy Koran and laid wreaths on the grave.

His Majesty King Abdullah II returned home on Saturday following his participation in the meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos. His Majesty's participation in the Forum offered a good opportunity to the private sector in Jordan to use the forum as a platform to show its achievement and presents its plans and suggestions for joint ventures with major international companies in areas such as tourism, aviation, information technology, health care and pharmaceuticals, vehicle spare parts.
His Majesty King Abdullah II said in Davos that the Jordanian education initiative was launched with a program aimed to bridge the digital gap between Jordan and the world on one side and between the poor and the rich in Jordan on the other, in a way that enhances equal opportunities for all Jordanians in urban ,rural areas and the Badia.
His Majesty King Abdullah II reaffirmed Jordan's commitment to increase its economy's ability to compete and to increase the contribution of tourism and aviation sector in the grand national production.
